WELCOME TO OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Let us introduce you to our Service Department family......

Our Service Manager, Auggie Rodola, has been with Sunset Harbor since 1998, right after graduating from Pennco Tech, a marine technical school in New Jersey near his hometown.

Auggie is a Certified Mercruiser Sterndrive and Inboard tech as well as a Certified Volvo Penta tech. Over the years, he has pretty much done it all and seen it all. He achieved Master Tech status with ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council). Auggie is also our Authorized Maryland State Trailer Inspector. Auggie has knowledge and experience second to none in the area.

Auggie recently moved to Towson with his wife Melissa and their three kids. Lucas, Annabella, and Giovanni.

Paul Ellwanger returned to Sunset Harbor in 2019. He has added diesel training and Yamaha training to his long list of accomplishments. He is also our second ABYC Master Certified Technician. No other facilities in Baltimore County have one, much less two!

James Bass, a former co-worker of Paul's, started with us in February 2020. James has been working on boats for a short time, but is eager to learn and is expected to become a vital part of our team. James and his wife, Bri, are expecting their first child in October.

Hired in the Spring, John Hicks, is our equipment operator, with hopes of learning more and more in our industry. John raises rare Australian Lizards.

Experienced outboard tech, Milton Tarr, came to work for us this past summer. Milton and his wife recently returned from South Carolina. He has lots of experience and training, primarily on Mercury & Yamaha.

Those of you who keep boats in our boatel probably know Fred Saunders, our Saturday forklift operator. Fred has been a safe, dependable employee with Sunset Harbor since 2007. Fred lives in Middle River with his wife Felisa.
